Growing up in Beirut, and later becoming refugees during the war, has greatly informed my worldview around inequality, discrimination, and economic adversity. Working in the Middle-East, Africa, South America, and Asia during my corporate career added significantly to that worldview, by underscoring the disparity between citizens who benefitted from the technologies we offered and the greater number who did not. In particular, the traditions, cultures, and people of the countries in which we worked stood to benefit tremendously by a better use and focus of technology. The time has come to give back.

In addition to investment, we founders have always believed in a hands-on and engaged relationship, where our collective experience of over eighty years starting, building, growing, and exiting businesses and investments has been welcomed. Our skills and knowledge come from deep experience in financing, technical & product development, marketing & sales, and operations, and we’ve been happy to share as much of that as our founders want. Additionally, our large network of co-investors, specialists, and advisors in Africa, the Middle-East, and Asia are equally at your disposal. Our investment is in your success.

Our investment process is different than most VCs and Angels: we dramatically reduce much of the ‘standard’ due diligence process to focus instead on quickly understanding the tomorrow you want to build, and how. As an early-stage company, your strengths are in your ability to execute well and quickly, rather than building detailed spreadsheets and fancy pitch decks. We want to move quickly, and we want to hit the ground running with you as fast as you want.
